Tell us about your vehicle and what you are looking for. We can help you choose the appropriate window film and tint level based on appearance, comfort, privacy, and Ontario requirements.

2

We Prepare the Glass

Your vehicle's windows are thoroughly cleaned and prepared before installation. Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth finish without dirt, debris, or contamination underneath the film.

3

Professional Tint Installation

Our technicians carefully cut, position, and install the automotive window film to match your vehicle's glass.

4

Final Inspection

Before your vehicle leaves, we inspect the finished tint for proper fit, appearance, and adhesion. We will also explain how to care for your newly tinted windows while the film cures.

Why Tint Your Vehicle's Windows

Reduce Interior Heat

Automotive window film can help reduce the amount of solar heat entering your vehicle, making the cabin more comfortable during hot summer weather.

Protect Against UV Rays

Madico automotive window tint blocks 99% of the sun's harmful UV rays, helping protect you and your passengers while reducing fading of your vehicle's interior.

Improve Privacy

Tinted windows provide additional privacy by making it more difficult to see into your vehicle from outside.

Reduce Glare

Window tint can help reduce glare from sunlight and headlights, improving comfort while driving.

Protect Your Interior

Reducing exposure to sunlight and UV radiation can help protect dashboards, seats, trim, and other interior surfaces from fading and premature wear.

Improve Your Vehicle's Appearance

Professionally installed tint can give your car, truck, or SUV a clean, finished appearance without looking aftermarket or poorly applied.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer mobile window tinting?

Yes. True North Auto Glass offers mobile window tinting in London, Exeter, and surrounding areas. We can come to your home, workplace, or another suitable location. Because window film needs to be installed in a clean environment, our team will confirm that the location is appropriate before your appointment.

What are the benefits of automotive window tinting?

Automotive window tint can help reduce interior heat, reduce glare, block UV radiation, improve privacy, protect your vehicle's interior from sun exposure, and give your vehicle a cleaner finished appearance.

How dark can I tint my windows in Ontario?

Ontario has requirements relating to windshield and front side-window visibility. The appropriate tint can depend on the vehicle and where the film is being installed. Our team can help you select a tint option that suits your vehicle and complies with applicable Ontario requirements.

Does window tint block UV rays?

Yes. Madico automotive window tint blocks 99% of the sun's harmful UV rays. It can help protect you and your passengers while reducing fading of your vehicle's interior.

Does darker window tint block more heat?

Not necessarily. Heat rejection depends heavily on the technology and construction of the film, not just how dark it looks. A lighter film can sometimes provide strong heat reduction while maintaining greater visibility.

How long does window tinting take?

Installation time depends on the vehicle and the number of windows being tinted. Many passenger vehicles can be completed within a few hours. We will provide an estimated timeframe when your appointment is booked.

How long before I can roll my windows down?

Freshly installed window film needs time to cure. Your technician will let you know how long you should wait before rolling your windows down and provide instructions for caring for the tint during the curing period.

Is it normal to see bubbles after window tinting?

Some temporary moisture pockets or haziness can appear immediately after installation while the film cures. These should normally disappear as the film dries. Persistent bubbling is different and can be associated with aging, poor-quality film, or improper installation.

Can you remove old window tint?

Yes. Existing automotive window film can usually be removed before new tint is installed. We can inspect the existing film and let you know what is required.

Can you tint over factory privacy glass?

Yes, in many cases additional window film can be installed over factory privacy glass to increase heat rejection, UV protection, or privacy. Factory privacy glass itself is different from aftermarket automotive window film.

Can you match the factory tint on my SUV or truck?

In many cases we can select a film that closely complements the appearance of factory privacy glass. An exact visual match may not always be possible because factory-tinted glass and applied window film are different products.

Do you tint cars, trucks, and SUVs?

Yes. We provide automotive window tinting for cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans, and many other passenger vehicles.

Can I get only certain windows tinted?

Yes. You do not necessarily have to tint every window. We can tint selected windows depending on your goals, vehicle, existing factory glass, and applicable tint requirements.

Does window tint come with a warranty?

Madico automotive window films are backed by a manufacturer's warranty in North America. We can explain the applicable product and installation warranty before your appointment.

Does window tint help protect my interior?

Yes. Reducing UV exposure can help protect dashboards, upholstery, trim, and other interior materials from fading and sun damage over time.

Do I need an appointment?

We recommend booking in advance so we can confirm your vehicle, film selection, installation location, and expected installation time. This is particularly important for mobile tinting appointments.
